Ryan Hardgraves Grand Blanc Alumni and Rugby Scholorship Awardee (Davenport University, Grand Rapids) Made the Mid West Select Side team. Making the Select Side Team is quite an accomplishment. This means he was was Select as one of the best players in the Mid West Rugby Union to represent us in an National Tournament Held in Boulder Colorado on a Professional Rugby Field where USA Rugby is head quartered. The Tournament consists of the best players from the various Unions (i.e. South, East, Pacific, Mid-West). As you can imagine this is a very high quality caliber of Rugby and where the selectors from the USA Eagles teams will scout for the next group of individuals to represent the USA in international play. 

So if you see Ryan don't forget to congratualte him on SHOWING UP and WORKING HARD multiplied by a good ATTITUDE that resulted in his ultimate success. It doesn't take a  scientist to figure out that one does equal the other.

Rugby Meeting June 3rd at the Fint Rogue Rugby Field located at the Potter School off of Avril Rd in Flint MI. This will be a meeting to discuss the possibility of the Flint team sponsoring our club to allow us monies for a banquet and the possiblity of a summer 7's team. Bring yourselves and you rugby gear to practice with an intro to 7's after a brief discussion. I will be trying to put together a U19 7's team to travel to tournament this summer. Destinations may include Cleveland, Tennessee, Georgia, and Traverse City. This will depend on your participation. If we don't have the numbers on our own Flint will allow those that are interested to participate with them.
This will be a great way to gain more experience and it's a fun game. If you did not know 7's Rugby has been added to the summer Olympics.

All dues money and signed forms are now due.  If you do not have everything turned in before we get outside you will not be able to practice with the Team.
